About

I'm Dan Hansen. I spent my career in law enforcement, including years leading a police department. Along the way I learned that leadership is rarely about the big moments. It's about how you take care of yourself, how you treat your people, and whether you do the right thing when nobody's watching.

The Briefing Room is where I share those lessons, plainly and practically, for anyone who leads, whether you wear a badge or not.

Be safe and always do what's right.
